On this particular album, Wes plays pretty much every instrument you hear. Guitar, banjo, mandolin, and sings lead on every song. Wes’s vocals are reminiscent to some of your favorite old country singers with a style that’s only Wes Miller.

The only other player on this album is Mike Selke who played some of the bass tracks, backup vocals, and wrote two of the new songs. The album's namesake song “9 Out of 10,” and “Give My Heart a Break.”

Another original “Town of Hate,” was written by Wes’s father, James Miller (a master bluegrass mandolin player himself, and of course Wes' only music teacher.)

9 Out of 10 features some wonderful banjo playing, the first instrument Wes learned to pick.

From bluegrass instrumental breakdowns to songs that tell some country living stories. If you enjoy old country and bluegrass, you’re going like this pure and authentic string and vocal music.
